A Personal Request From Archer

Greetings, Loteks!

This EVEmail is strictly of a personal nature, from me to my alliancemates on the basis of friendship and comraderie.

I am trying to crowdfund a $3000 0%-interest 24-month loan for my business with Kiva, a non-profit organization with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. I intend to use the loan to build credit and kill off my debt so that I can stop interest payments from eating away at my profits, thereby letting me keep more of what I earn. I am asking for your help to make my loan crowd funding effort a success!

There are two phases to crowdfunding this loan: a private funding phase and a public funding phase. In the private funding phase, I require 14 people from my social circle to make a contribution to my loan within a 15 day period to indicate that there are people in my real life that support my cause. The actual contribution amount does not matter, and the minimum amount is $25. Once I have 14 people backing me, then my loan enters the public funding phase where over 2 million Kiva lenders will look over my loan request to see if they want to pitch in. It just so happens that the Holidays is when Kiva lenders pitch in the most, so I’m really looking forward to completing the private funding phase sooner rather than later!

Because this is a loan, you will be repaid the contribution you make, and because there is no prepayment penalty on the loan, I intend to pay sooner rather than later. You don’t ‘get’ anything out of this other than the satisfaction of knowing you helped make a meaningful contribution into someone else’s life. And should my loan be funded and anyone else here choose to pursue a Kiva loan, I promise that I will help pitch into your loan’s private funding phase, too!

All the details about me, my loan application, and Kiva can be found here: https://www.kiva.org/lend/1203104 .

For the first time ever, my true identity will be revealed to you all, but it is because I value each and every single one of you that I am comfortable with you learning my real name, appearance, email, and even phone number =)

You are by no means obligated to pitch in (nor would I know if you did or didn’t), so feel free to disregard this request; however, I would be grateful for every single contribution.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Happy Holidays!
